Apologies.

What do they mean?

It's a request

for forgiveness.

Plea for correctness.

It's a wish to make things right,

to make it through the night,

with out wanting to cry,

with out wanting to die.

But an apology only works

if the person puts aside their hurt.

Sees past the mistakes

getting rid of the hate.

Accepting a person for who they are,

even though from likeness they're far.

Giving a person another chance

so they can be free and dance.
