Apollo

The faster he runs, the less he can see

His feet carry his body

before he and the ground can meet

Right, then left

His feet take turns

Going faster and faster

‘Til he can feel the burn

Pumping his legs he’s almost there

Bygolly he’s done it

The crowd erupts in a cheer

He’s defeated Usain Bolt, Tyson Gay, and Donovan Bailey

Team Greece has won, but no surprise

Apollo runs like this daily
