Catching the sun
Like a rough sea-jewel
Plucked from the orange sand
Rough around the edges.
Dizzy under the oak tree,
Spiky grass underfoot.
The tang of apples on my tongue,
Words in my lap.
Stars,
Shooting stars.
Dreaming of the Island.
