With the dawn of yet another day

With the beginning of the morning rays

I turn to you lord in hope and faith

Yet I know not what to say

 

With the setting of another day

Full of chores and duties my way

A cloud of doubtfulness on my face

I slowly kneel down to pray

 

As I say to thee these words of sorrow

I know not your answer my lord

But one thing sure as a rock

Is that your love is truly gold

 

And today when the sun sets

As I lay my soul to rest

Hoping for yet another day

I turn to you lord for guidance

 

Let me come to your care

With all my broken heart pieces

With the assurance that yet again

The broken pieces you will fix

 

For when I have nothing to hope for,

And my world collapses around me

Living a dream far-fetched it seems

You are that power that guides me
