2 Corinthians 5:8

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body

and to be present with the Lord.

Where is the date written?

When is the day done ... and we leave in a moment of crying

Is it in our conscience ... or written somewhere in the stars

It can’t be everlasting ... since flesh thinks not of dying

Until it is surely in fate ... when disease grins not too far

It thinks it lives forever ... and death has lost its number

And even when it happens to others ... it forget this very fast.

When it comes to self ... it seems an unexpected slumber

More of a miss-configuration ... that originated in the past.
