Another’s Eyes

This person that you see is it really meThey tell me that the world is my stageBut are they really talking to me or the person that they believe to be meAnd yet people talk to me expecting me to listen But how can I listen when I can't hear themAll I can hear is the incoherent silence while the person in front of them can hear every syllableI can look around but it's as if I'm looking through a dreams movie frameAll because I have no connection to this reality for it's not my reality They tell me to shape up but how can I when there’s no stabilityIn a reality that’s unbenounced to themI’ll interact with others but it’s not actually me For it’s just the person that they see So tell me if i’m here in their body in their realityDoes that mean that they are in my intangable reality with my undefine bodyI say they for we have never met face to faceFor all i know they could be a male trapped within a female’s apperision After all everyday is nothing but a fleeting dreamIn a never revealing sceneWhere no one can hear the panicking screamsBut is there actual screaming no it’s just unattainable silence So they tell me take this it’ll make you feel betterYeah sure it’s bothersome not knowing their realityBut what about this unfinished dream that’s not my realityWhat about the other person Tell me who are they if they are not meAnd i’m not them then who are weFor this is nothing more than dreamThey are speaking but what are they saying They are moving but what are they doingI do not know for i’m watching from afarFloating in an empty space watching the moving screenSo then where am I who am I I am the unknown dreamer who has set passage in another’s vesselI am the unseen shadow that follows the travellerI am the wistful light of an unforetold dreamI am the unheard voice of the forgotten I know what others will never be able to dreamI see what others will never seeI believe what others denyFor i am capable of seeing through another’s eyes
