And Yet The World Goes On

Tonight a little girl is snatched into a dark alley in Los Angeles. And yet the world goes on.

Tonight a family is killed in a different country. And yet the world goes on.

Tonight a woman cries, because her husband was killed in combat. And yet the world goes on.

Tonight a mother cries, because her child was killed. And yet the world goes on.

Tonight a village in Africa is burned to the ground. And yet the world goes on.

Tonight the rich man lives it up, while the poor man dies in the street. And yet the world goes on.

Tonight a fire breaks out and a fireman doesn't get out. And yet the world goes on.

Tonight a missionary is killed for Christ. And yet the world goes on.

Tonight a family is kicked out of their home and freeze to death in the snow. And yet the world goes on.

But tonight, my sister leaves home. I don't know when I'll ever see her. And yet the world goes on.
