Beneath the waterline a heavy keel not seen.

Keeps the vessel in rough weather steady.

When the breeze is stiff

Straining the rigging and the crew

The ship remains far from capsizing

Because of the unseen keel.

Christ our unseen keel

Commands the winds and waves of life

And grants us peace while thje billows roll

To have smooth sails in the storms of life.

Christ the rock will wash our sins

Christ the rock will fight our foes

Christ the rock provides for us
