Anchor Lost

Our small band of three, together we stood

Tight together, nothing could stand against.

Still with fights, family could win and would

I could speak freely without any mince.

And then came upon us a mighty wind

Tugging and pulling at our band of three

The anchor was lost we cannot pretend

Nothing would be right for she was the key

The key, rock, and corner stone of my life.

Beneath my reach; now never to be found

Adrift in the endless see; So much strife

Depression set in, sadness had me bound

Waiting for my lost anchor to return

For a ray of light, for the tide to turn.
