Staring into another's eyes-

As confidence slips slowly down

Cherry cheeks, creating streams and

Confluences; down sillhoutes, 

Meshing raw embarrassment with

Insecure humiliation;

Down concrete feet, dripping skewed pride

And out-of-order hopefulness-

This overwhelms me with joy. To

Prove someone wrong yields unnerving

Satisfaction and is simply 

Unexplainably perfect to

Me. Being correct makes life worth

Something. Rightness presents me life.
