Amirite?
Staring into another's eyes-
As confidence slips slowly down
Cherry cheeks, creating streams and
Confluences; down sillhoutes,
Meshing raw embarrassment with
Insecure humiliation;
Down concrete feet, dripping skewed pride
And out-of-order hopefulness-
This overwhelms me with joy. To
Prove someone wrong yields unnerving
Satisfaction and is simply
Unexplainably perfect to
Me. Being correct makes life worth
Something. Rightness presents me life.
