American Stars

Good Morning America!

Land of the free, home of the brave,

and the founder of the freedom that so many crave.

The stars in the sky, as bright as they gleam

are nothing compared to the stars on our flag,

still bringing hope for my American dream.

In a country where my dreams can be reached,

and the pastors here are still allowed to preach.

Where I am not limited by regulations and rules,

And every child is able to attend a school.

I am grateful for our flag that still flies today,

In the heart of every soldier an entire world away.

With ambition and honor they were sent off to war,

as the battle intensifies America is shaken to the core.

So Good Morning America,

and thank you for all the opportunities you provide.

I am honored to be here,

and to have American pride.
