America the Great
America the great, is not so great,
Or rather great with imperfections
That impede its equal opportunity gate.
Even if pointed in the right direction
What is it without strong grit?
Freedom; religion and speech
We become more diversified and omit
And unify, though we must impeach.
Though not sheerly great, we are the best.
Steps taken forward and progressed,
Some taken back and regressed,
America you’ve come a long way
And now is not the time to quit,
Your greatness if your writ.
America is great and home to all
Deserving, the wall is not so tall.
Down with it.
