America the Big Brand
Sometimes the most disappointing thing
in meeting an American
celebrity can be is when you meet them you think they are phenomenal and inspiring through their work, and realize... that is their brand
and when meeting them as a human they have absolutely no spiritual connection to realness other than the facade they built through their talent to create a title and brand, using their title for popularity, separation, and financial motives other than helping the community that resurrected them. This we see all too much, and it is the American way to be a cut throat brand than it is to be real. I pray that I dig deeper as a human, and never ever have to feed a facade or replace my truth with what is financially appealing : why exist if you exist for money and not your inner truth? What will money give you other than mold you into an oppressor, develop more problems, less truth, and more fear that after you are gone your money falls into the hands of another oppressor? Meeting celebrities are sad. Sometimes I see a prisoner rather than what I thought they were or at least, what their brand portrayed.
