Ambedo
The cello sings me to sleep
The saddest, most beautiful voice I've ever heard
Notes carefully composed into a tragedy that floats through the room with ease
It lulls me into oblivion
Quieting my fears and hushing my worries
The bow and strings beckon me
Carry me along with their song
The melody entombs me
And I become another prisoner to this lullaby
This poem is about:
