A wooden board: Start
Lush, green hedges taller than I can see
How exciting, I think
The hedges sway invitingly
I enter

Playfully exploring at first
This is serious, I realize
I slow down, I pay attention
I try my father's advice
Dead end

What do I do? I ask
Stuck
I stupidly stare at the obstacle
A friendly dog appears and nudges me
I follow

We reverse, we twist, we turn
We find dead ends,
We find hidden passages
I can do this, I think
We continue

As I grow taller, so do the hedges
Determined to be secretive
As I grow wiser, so do the hedges
Determined to be complicated
加油, 加油, 加油, I chant
The critters of the maze spur me on
'Mazing life
