ALONE

The moment you realize

All is gone, all is lost

The toll, just too high

You can't afford the cost

The price of love and family

Like loose coins in your pockets

Get tossed around, lost or spent

A trait we all learn to copy

Crushed in by the injustices

Numbed inside from the lies

Nobody to reach out to, talk with

No, not one left alive

To be withdrawn inside yourself if only for the safety

Seeking some sort of comfort or peace

Some calm from the waves never comes

Something fierce cries out for relief

Your eyes can no longer stand the mirror

Your eyes have become unseen

Yourself being, your soul, your beast

They all look just like me

It only takes one to spread a lie

Two or more to take an interest

Three or more will destroy your life

The rest are left to believe it

Your suddenly turned into a stranger

Yourself worth has lost all sense

The price you'll pay for this one

Will break your mind, your conscienceness

When I stood a the foot of my grave

I noticed no flowers had arrived

When I looked all over for a familiar face

I noticed nobody came to say goodbye

No, not one left alive
