Allow me

Exodus 3:14

14 God said to Moses, “I am that I am.” And He said,

“You must say this to the Israelites, ‘I am has sent me to you.’”

Allow me

Let me lick my fingers ... but never bite my nails.

Let me always appreciate ... the handle of my pail.

Let me enjoy my hairbrush ... even though I’m bald

as the tickling of my skin ... I’m liking after all.

Let me be happy with eyesight although it sees misery.

Let it trigger in my heart ... foundational empathy.

Let me enjoy my taste ... although at times bitter tears

when my failures confront me and it seems no one is near.

Let me bathe in my hearing ... and concentrate on cries.

as time amazingly fast ... at the speed of thought goes by.

Help me to count my blessings ... in whatever state I am

in contentment, godliness and love with the “Great I Am”.
