All WE Need is Equality

When human strife

ends more than one life,

with war on the brink,

you would start to think

All we need is equality,

for the entire quantinty.

But is equality a human myth,

nothing but a hope for blithe?

Is the idea of humanity

nothing but a dream of insanity?

The minority may cry,

but the others won't even sigh.

Equality is great,

but it has no good fate.

It is all a food chain

where only the rich gain.

For the keepers of slaves

have not met their graves,

the same love

is still put down with a shove

and life is no vaction

for those without an education.

Why does your belief

bring you so much greif?

Why do braces

clash with pretty faces?

And why is the whore

turned away at the church door

where she is supposed to meet love

not dirty glares from above?

Why is gender,

determined by the life sender,

what chooses our power

and leaves others sour?

The ill and the sick

no one will pick,

young below old

but the middle has you sold.

The strong over weak,

equality I still seek.

Pride over love.

What we need is the peace dove.
