All I Really Need

All I Really Need

Laying down in a crib,

Crying.

Mommy feeds me,

Mommy puts me to sleep.

All I really need is my Mommy.

Laying down in the top bunk,

Chicken Pox.

Mommy takes care of me,

Mommy is there for me.

All I really need is my Mommy.

Laying down in my queen size,

Heartbroken.

Momma consoles me,

Momma uplifts me.

All I really need is my Momma.

Laying down in a dorm room,

I hear the news.

Momma had cancer,

Momma is lifeless.

All I really need is my Momma.

Continuing my life in law,

Momma gave me the tools to be strong.

Momma is still watching down,

I must make her proud.

All I really need is my Momma.
