Proverbs 19:23                       New English Translation

23 Fearing the Lord leads to life, and one who does so will live satisfied;

he will not be afflicted by calamity.

Self-inflicted wounds as we compromise in our spiritual life

Will handicap our daily walk if we ignore our conscience

Until we come to the point that your flesh will reign again

And we lose our distaste for sin and hunger for obedience
