Adventure

Tolkien, Lewis, they know adventure.
Trolls, goblins, lions, witches;
Other worlds, through the wardrobe perhaps.
But what do I know, what do I know?
What do I know of adventure?

Lindbergh, Earhart, they know adventure.
Engines, propellers, land, oceans;
The possibility of never, ever coming back.
But what do I know, what do I know?
What do I know of adventure?

Adventure is only something I have read about,
never experienced.
Something I always wished to have,
but could never get.

Now I know, I know adventure.
Love, loss, risks, changes
Adventure lies in all the moments as they pass.
And this is what I know, this is what I know.
This is what I now know about Adventure.
