Adulthood

Adulthood is painful

Like standing at the base of a skyscraping mountain

With no carabiner or rope

Doing nothing sprouts nothing

So, you must climb the mountain

Even when you don't want to

Or don’t have the supplies to

So, what do you do?

You freebase

Or you try to use the resources around you

Making the best out of the situation

And you start climbing

And climbing

Falling along the way

Some fall in the beginning

Some fall near the end

Adulthood is painful

But we all try our best

Sometimes it's not enough

Some fall again

But we get back up

To continue climbing

Adulthood is painful

But the peak is near
