Adam

Gen. 2:16-17 “”You may eat freely of every tree in the garden,

but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat

for in that day you eat there off, you shall surely die”.

God persuaded and prohibited

but never covered the point.

If Adam so willed

he could make a choice.

God would not restrain him

even though it would bring death

for freedom is not shackled

it is free to will its own voice.

Adam was not created

incapable of sinning.

God may prohibit or command

but responsibility was with Adam.

To want to listen or not

was Adams prerogative

even though he blamed Eve

when he got into a jam.
