Accountability

Ecclesiastes 3:1

For everything there is an appointed time,
and an appropriate time for every activity on earth:

Accountability

The free ride is over … straighten up your tie

The time has come to pay the price yourself

Your life was a picture with someone else’s supplies

And now it is your turn ... to show and tell

How often lately ... did you think of your urn?

You expected the world to dance to your music

In every note you missed … you let others burn

You are quite a spectacle in your self-chosen tunic

The time now to pay ... the piper is at the door

He won’t take ... your leftover change

The price is due in full … without an encore

No mercy now here … unless pre-arranged
