The Accident (Shakespearean Sonnet Rhyme Scheme)

Why must suffering even exist,
That of whih I've been forced to feel?
Why must the pain continue to persist?
Oh, my soul shall never heal!

That night, my friends, it just had to rain
And the car swerved on ahead.
I blacked out, but deep within my brain,
I knew my entire family was dead.

All purpose was gone.
Yet when I told my doctor this, he dubbed me mad,
But I knew he was wrong.
So, I set out to punish him for being bad.

Thus, upon the next night, to punish him for being mean,
As his family watched, I drowned him in a burning barrel of gasoline.
