Abyss of Our World

They say not wavers in sorrow
Intriging honor once stored by doubt
The height at which we soar
Is not enough to bear witness
For the murder of us

The blood of our enemies is
Not enough to satisfy
Not enough to justify
What has happened here today
So we excuse those guilty
And convict those innocent
To fornevermore return the surface

To bathe in the indignity that is this life
This world
