Abuse
I cry out in agony and pain
Stripped of my freedoms, striked by prejudice against my people
my blanket of hope is taken by despair
I am naked being poked and prodded by man’s hate
“Abuse” I yell beating against my breast declaring my wretched sorrow
“Abuse!” But all my hopes and aspirations have been beaten away
Hostility has taken my shelter and has thrown me out into the void of odium
“Abuse,” I whisper in a defeated tone, “abuse…”
