911, What's Your Emergency

Location

Smoke fills the sky
as terror fills our eyes
frightful hearts stand and stare
some completely unaware

The angry fires blazed
as many stood amazed
As the hungry fires burned
for something others yearned
to crash the American dream
but obviously things were worse than they seemed

Run!
Get out!
Everyone seemed to shout
as the towers tumbled down
on the desolate frightened ground

Falling from the sky
people tried to dive
to avoid the fate to come
but it was already done

Ashes filled the air
creating a frightful scare
to millions across the nation
they saw the situation
as terror consumed them all
as they saw the towers fall

911 what’s your emergency
It’s 9/11 mam’
And Daddy won’t come home
he went in bravely but,
now he’s not coming out.
I’m sorry son,
dad’s not coming home to see you anymore.

For the smoke stood,
So many things it took
For families are now broken
Lives have now been shaken
As the towers fell
In this fiery smoking hell.
