When you leave a night with unfinished words and unspoken feelings,
You’re left with these emotions that cast on for a year,
trying to fit in a day;
Impossible feelings you never thought possible,
A corrupt relationship held by wounded hands,
Trying to avoid another shard of the pain;
inflicted from attempting to hold on,
Attempting to grasp on,
Attempting to dig and engrave a barrage of untimely words into your frame,
because maybe,
just maybe showing you isn’t enough,
but making you FEEL it…
Maybe then you’d pay attention.
Be attentive to the detail that is left,
when I go left in a different direction,
when you go right,
when you think you’re right.
Have all our problems go up and down,
side to side and let them follow me…

Let them.
