5:01 A.M by Sol E. Mejia

5:01 A.M
by Sol E. Mejia

In the midst of a dear slumber
Eyes awaken
Whimpering, moaning
With merely a small burst of emotion
And stretching of tight muscles
Fingers extend to the rear of the sheets in such a docile motion even the pitch dark room heard no conscious

Feebleminded in the 5 o clock hour,  I start to poetically try harder
It is dark because i am relentless
But that only stops me from the actually possessing it
I know that if i were to slow down into heavy breaths...  Step lightly and drink my tisane lethargically and all together become more sluggish

I could maybe just maybe channel that sense of the earliest breath of arousal

the peaceful taste of life .
