2020

2020 what a mess:

2020 should I even get dressed?

Thought we knew pain when we lost Kobe,

Never before have we all felt so lonely.

We though it would only be the fires,

and then it was those impeachment trials.

Nothing to do

No place to go

Feels like we've never been at such a low.

Our dreams quickly perish:

sports, school, work, we never did cherish.

Everyone's becoming so grouchy,

but why must we blame this on doctor Fauci?

How is this different from the Flu?

the answers start sounding like "dooby-do."

We stop listening, We protest

forming crowds- is that for the best?

Wash your hands Wear a mask,

We sure hope this will not last.

Nurses, Doctors, Servers too

risking it all for the sake of you.

Covid-19 for what it might seem

wishing I'd wake up from this awful dream.

But oh there is some fun in this-

sometimes a little ignorance is bliss.

Take a day from all this shock,

and learn to dance to this Tik Tok.

All day I learn the Renegade...

I should probably find a way to get paid.

2020 you've tested our strength...

You've taken all you can possible take,

And now with heavy hearts we pay tribute

to those who've given all they can contribute.

To those who've fallen ill and died

We couldn't even say goodbye,

and those who are burried in mass graves...

we never knew they were so brave

2020 what a year...

It's hard to say when the end is really near.
