2016 is dead 

It went away and came with a replacement 

2016 was a time in the past nothing but mistakes 

 

Today is January 1, 2017 

It's a new day 

When everyone come up with new years resolutions 

and then the next week its gone 

It's just like every other day  

So what does this new year bring use 

NOTHING

 

2016 is dead 

It was a year of heartache

It was as people would say 

The Worst Year Of Their Life

In 2016 songs were deep and intense

 

But what does 2017 bring

Does it bring 

Joy for those who has lost it 

More violence for those countries who have nothing better to do

or does 2017 bring HOPE 

 

In 2016 we had hoped or did we have pain and lost 

Pain from the wars 

Lost from the many people who have been killed from violence
