2009 Sublime Naivety: Day by Day

[7/05/09]

Day by day I wake up,

To the sun shining through the cracks in the blinds,

You take that deep breath in and let out a yawn,

And your eyes widened, to look at the clock,

You feel as though it would be just another, regular day,

But there is no such thing.

There's always something new and right to expect,

Even if the sun isn't shining.

The birds are still up and out chirping,

About what a beautiful day it can be.

I'm alive.
