18 years

Mon, 07/01/2013 - 13:53 -- Sence

18 years of smiles,

18 years of tears,

18 years of mysteries still unsloved,

18 wishes in 18 candles,

No longer young and naive,

but older and more mature.

I'm still finding my way,

after 18 years of trying.

Figuring out who I am inside and how I look on the out.

18 tries and 18 fails,

18 victories from internal battles,

Winning, losing, loving and sharing.

18 years of being ordinary.

Finding a voice, but keeping quiet.

I've had 18 years to think,

To wonder, ponder and live a life set out before me.

And in 18 years I've found out that I've been queit for to long.

So now, in my 18th year  I have decieded to speak.

My mind, my thoughts, my feelings.

So wish me luck during my 18th quest.
