“Our Angelic hero’s” dedicated to Newton School Victims
Location
(We will never forget the innocence in your precious eyes.
The brave hearted teachers who risked their lives.
A Christmas now left with a bitter despair,
Of parents and siblings wishing you were there,
Now God is there to grab your hands
Events that take place we do not understand,
But as we always believe in God we Trust
We have little angels watching over us
To provide comfort to the weeping and weary
May God place his finger under our eyes when they start to get teary
And though we so badly cry and grieve
May we always have those sweet memories
Of Charlotte Bacon, Daniel Barden, Olivia Engel, Josephine Gay,
You will always be in our prayers all the times that we pray,
Ana M. Marquez-Greene, Dylan Hockley, and Madeleine, Catherine, and chase,
How we will always yearn to see your face,
Jesse Lewis, James, and Grace,
In the arms of the Lord is a safer place,
Emilie Parker, Jack Pinto, Noah and Caroline
How we all wish we could have stopped the hands of time,
Jessica, Avielle, Benjamin, Allison, in our hearts you’ll always stay,
Rachael, Dawn, Ann Marie how petrified our spirits are that you were all taken away,
Victoria, Lauren and Mary you now start your new beginning
May your 2nd life for all of you never have an ending.
We can’t place a time frame on how long we will remain broken hearted,
And families cannot comprehend how their loved ones somehow parted.
The little angel that wanted to be a Fire fighter and the son that wanted to be a cop
How life so suddenly came to a stop,
Children were just being children why didn’t he think twice
That one could have been a great husband and the other someday a wife,
Proms now have no meanings and graduations are just days,
The stages are left so bare because there will be no more school plays,
Gifts are just material when they don’t cause you to smile
And loneliness seems like forever when we don’t have you around.
Daddy holds you in his heart, as mommy cries a river
Family keeps your pictures close to console them through December.
And all that children ask for on this year’s wish list
Is that somehow Santa can Grant them peace for this melancholy Christmas.
And if we do get lucky like some say the number seven
I hope that God will grant me the sight of seeing you again in heaven.
