“My Addiction”

I walked into heaven damaged and scorn,

With a heart so big, a heart so torn,

With her, I found the meaning of life,

She was my soulmate, I made her my wife,

It took me many relationships until I found my dame, a woman so worthy to carry my name,

She brings me comfort and she’s full of joy,

She soothes the heart of this little boy,

A kid that was lost, trying to gain some friction, a kid that got lost in an ugly addiction,

With time and patience and unconditional love, she became my fix, my ultimate drug,

Through the years our bond became unbreakable, shots I once missed, now are makable,

I found the one, I found my person, she was the only cure for this damaged person...
