Fear of Loss

An average morning a shock I found when a loved one so close was unable to sound. The pain of this discovery was fighting me inside as the fear of loss was failing to hide.  The depression of uncertainty was boisterously looming as the hope for their survival was quickly dooming. After weeks of torture, I finally heard that this loved one so dear could speak their own words. Their physical pain to them still lingers but is tolerable, but the emotional pain of their loss would be unbearable.
