You ever wonder what poetry means to you, the reason behind it all

That something that's always there for you when you have no one to call

Lines after lines with words pleading from your mind

When your actually using your heart, fingers, and eyes

unlimited lines of realness, poetry doesnt except fake

It's like a psychologist that listen's to you 23 hours a day

I would say 24 but the last hour enter's into tomorrow

Poetry is natural, it can't be borrowed

You speak whats on your mind but it wont answer back

It takes you out of the world where it feel like bad happens over and over

like laps around a track

You think no one wont will respond but all you need is hope

You may be trapped in quick sand but somewhere around is a rope

You may choose to give up because that option always seems to present itself

As you cry in depression while playing a quick game of Russian Roulette

Things maybe hard but who said life is easy

There's many ways to reach success besides being another Lebron or Weezy

Next time when you write a poem, write about the person you wanna be in the

next 10 years

But make sure it's positive along with your motive and how your gonna get there

Poetry is life so what you write is what you live

Some poetry's are about things we see and or believe

Love and the struggles we go through

Repeats because what we write is what you go through

Poetry is what we use to express ourselves

What we write lives between the lines although some of us live in conditions

that isn't well

Poetry may represent those that are thoughtful
