This life is all I have ever known

from its difficulties and blessings

to the people met over time

and the tight knit family I have.

And you may criticize me all you want

it will not make you any better than me

and only I know the reasoning to

my actions, and my being.

Everyone has their own story to tell

and this is mine.

Will you lend an ear?

I am not asking for much.

I don't expect you to see it my way

for each has a perspective of their own.

Perhaps one day, we will know

the purpose of our lives.

I'm still experimenting with life

to discover my own.

Although, they say that one doesn't

find it their last moment.

This life is a hectic adventure

but I wouldn't change any of it.

Each and everyday helps me

shape my persona as I travel.
