Cheering

Location

Cheering. Cheering?

What is that word that I am hearing?

Is it the sound of a jump, stunt, or tumble?

It’s surely louder than just a mumble!

It’s full of hard work and dedication.

I can assure you, it’s no vacation.

But if it’s the sport for you,

You’ll know exactly what to do

Tease up a big cheer hair bump,

And get ready to tumble and jump.

Because when you go on to preform,

It will not be like sports of the norm.

For when a cheerleader goes on the stage mat,

It’s more glamorous than hitting a ball with a bat.

You go out and give it your all,

While you’re looking pretty, unlike football.

This is a sport of happiness and love.

As for me, it fits my life like a glove.

Without this sport, I don’t know where I’d be.

Nothing else matters more to me.
