A war that rages from north to south,
A war that pours blood from thy mouth.
A war on how much it hurt to be a slave,
A war on which they just want to save
No longer slavery for their hearts,
They now do their part.
They fought for the freedom of the country,
now they fight for their own liberty.
The Civil War was anything but,
Where big wounds sprung from a cut.
No war
No more,
they cry in the streets.
Hope is their food and courage is their drink.
Let us hope next time they will think.
