Too Alone to Talk

Lost with no direction.

Turn the corner and hide.

Loneliness and darkness are their cover.

They are invisible.

None care to see.

They are afraid.

To tell would worsen the worst.

They walk to find the door closed.

Rejection at its basic

Is more heart wrenching than the obvious lie.

No one will take the risk.

They wander and search, yet the others turn away.

They are alone.

Who will help?

If not one takes the risk to notice,

What will happen?

The darkness will envelop them.

The world will go black.

And they will vanish into obscurity.

For they are alone and no one will listen to their cries.
