Dreams

When someone tells you your dreams are and will not be a reality.

Dream harder. Because who are they to rip your dreamss apart?

Nothing but nay sayers on the bench who is not even in the race.

They all just haters keep your head tall and straight. I tell myself.

Dream Big and those little doubts will go away.

Your mother's or your father's words don't mean a thing

This is your time now and no one can make your decisions...Hmm

Now why does my dreams seem so distant?

Recoiling in the waves of what could make me money

Arguing with myself should i go for the green or be happy?

Because we all know money can't buy happiness

But have i ever seen one living off dreams?

Living off clouds seems like a dream itself

Seems unreachable, cloud living is only for those who have wealth

At least that's what I see

Millions of celebrities

Living off dreams

While we

The less successful

Live off pennies

Counting our dreams as the undignified

Classified them as denied

And throw them back in the pile of roll over minutes

That we spend time talking about but never really going nowhere

Because we're to busy filling other people's tires with air

So they can get up and leave and create more companies that keeps refusing

People with no schooling

Past community college

Past GEDs

Because they worried about getting more money

Yet once again I say  money can't buy happiness

Yet those selfish pains seems to try and prove that it does

Showing off at the biggest clubs

Buying 100 dollar bottles

Buying cars like they're just a Toyota model

That we people dream of

So where is my convertable bug?
