The Other One

Hinging everything so delicately

One wrong move, everything will fall and fail.

It is the price to pay to deal with me.

I will keep you close from all that will ail

Only a small price to pay, no big deal

I vow you will hardly know it’s missing.

It will be easy, no bout of fussing,

But do not look above, I am not there

Instead cast your gaze to the shadows, Sweet.

For not up high will you find my dark stare.

I am far down below, beneath your feat.
