I write to be free and let everyone hear my voice

when a lot of the times I don't have a choice

When to get up when to go to bed

how to walk how to hold my head

what to wear and what I can buy

I have no control sometimes it makes me cry

i'm just a teen and no one holds enough respect for me

im just  an item for adults to see

im in my flowery youth but sometimes im shy

but writing helps me reach my hands to the sky

i can write how i feel and not worry about

people who are always trying to control my ins and outs

i write because its fun i write because i feel free

i write so everyone can see the real me
