Bent Canvas

Back hunched, intent with purpose

sitting before a canvas, aching feet go unnoticed as

body follows line

eyes trace shape

fingers explore texture

Mind expands, contracts, pushes through veins of paint

Thoughts intertwine with form, expression, emotion,

and bleed red onto the white fabric

Life is breathed into a single swath of material covering a wooden frame,  and the piece

is

finished.
