An Epiphany

Take a deep breath, cuz this one’s bound to hurt
Slam you on the wall by the collar of your shirt
And leave you there, windless, face down in the dirt
How can I, toothless, improve my diction
How can I, emotionless, radiate conviction
It popped into my brain like a Facebook alert
That I am an addict without an addiction
