Ode to Online Classes
We take online classes-
Teachers create video chats with scared students
Mounds of homework pile up on sanitized desks
This is no vacation-
Turn in times for assignments fill up my inbox
But there is no end date for what's keeping me inside
Days blur into weeks and-
How ironic that I have no emails from concerned family
Only emails from people concerned about my grades
How can I focus on projects...
When I don't know if I'll ever be able to turn them in?
Deadlines have become meaningless to us,
We've lost track of time.
This poem is about:
Me
My community
My country
Our world
