Bad jobs, bad grades, bad breakup,
At times it seems like you’ve had enough.

Words, lies, and back-stabbing friends,
Who knows when this ride will ever end?

Broken home, broken pictures, and broken round tables,
Whatever happened to the picture perfect family?

Papers, and pens, and bad lawyers,
Divorce is more than just a court order matter.

God, church, sins, and faith
Seems like such a difficult way.

Murder, suicide, and killing goes on,
Do they ever think of their family at home?

Beatings, kickings, and CPS,
All are much worse to a child than death.

Cancer, disease, and old age claims many,
Words of goodbyes are never enough.

Love, happiness, dreams, and hope,
Seem to have left this world in a daze

At times it seem life knocks us down,
But just remember that you will always get up somehow.
