Medusa the Victim
The beautiful, so fair and kind and pure,
Now all but stripped away because of he
Who could not cease the lust for mortal flesh.
‘‘Tis she who suffers from that day and not
The man who did the deed. Now all that stare
At she who asked and wanted it to be
But those who look will never see the girl
Who wanted not to lay with man that day.
So cursed and shamed is she who lives and breathes
But cannot live or breathe no more because
Of men who take the sword to kill the beast
Who is the girl turned dark and cold and foul.
The men who use, abuse the beast, shall take
The head of she and use again then throw
Away to rot in damned eternity.
